Q: What can I contribute to the community ?
A: There are many helps especially the seniors in our community need and there so much we can do to contribute to ease their burden, hence we welcome everyone to integrate and serve. There are many talents that we need in the community. No one is too old or too young to serve.
Q: Who should join as member of Integrated Community ?
A: Membership for Integrated Community are opens to:
1. All retirees or working seniors whether they are staying on their own or with their families and also those who currently staying at nursing home.
2. Children of the seniors are strongly encouraged to join as member as they may participate in activities and also book services on their parents’ behalf.
3. Young adults who have the love to care and serve the elderly.
4. Housewives who have a heart and time to serve the elderly.
5. Relevant services providers who can offer services to the elderly. This category of members will be subject to approval with strict background screening.
Q: What it cost to be a member of Integrated Community ?
A: The Community Integration membership joining fee is set at only RM20 and early bird annual subscription is set at RM30 to cover administration and operational costs of running members’ programs.
Q: What are benefits as members of Integrated Community ?
A: Members benefits are breakdown into 3 categories: (i) wide range of complementary social interaction activities, events and mental health talks organized exclusively for members, (ii) corporate tie up discounts and (iii) chargeable services and emergency help coordination.
(i) List of Complementary Free Services and Activities For Members are such as :
Regular scheduled social meet up and interaction programs
Regular scheduled morning exercise and outdoor activities
Assist and guide eligible seniors to claim various government’s benefits allocation such STR, Selankah etc
Scam alert and awareness programs
Gadgets and social medias educational programs
Organize social engagement and interaction activities such as visitation among members, fellowship and physical exercise.
Creating avenues for seniors to enlarge their social circle, acquiring and building friendships through their participation in various community events and activities.
Organize knowledge sharing sessions to allow veterans seniors to share their experiences with other members and to coach and mentor the younger members.
(ii) List of exclusive privileges and special discounts from corporate tie-up / collaboration to Integrated Community Members range from medical check up, restaurants, tours & travel, clinics, pharmacies and health products etc
(iii) List of Chargeable services and emergency help coordination includes:
Driving and accompanying members for outpatient hospitals or clinics treatment.
Accompanying and caring for the sick.
Driving and accompanying members for meals, groceries and shopping.
Helping members in their household and chores such as housekeeping, cooking, laundry etc
Helping members in their household handy works and repairs.
Helping members in transport arrangements such as airport transfer and short distance travels.
Grievances support and as distress caregivers
Act as call center to coordinate emergency response to ensure various emergency needs such as ambulance, first aid, next of kin notification etc
Q: Who should I contact if I wish to book a chargeable service ?
A: Each member will be assigned to a Community Connect Leader (CCL) who will oversee the well being of members assigned under their care. CCL will endeavor to on the best effort basis to customize every service request submitted to match with another member or service provider to suit the member’s specific needs. The priority is to match job task that can be offered by internal members before offering to non member service providers.
Q: How much will a chargeable service cost for a job task that takes 4 hours to complete ?
A: The Community Connect Leader (CCL) will determine the charges of the service requested based on the time spent, nature and traveling cost to be incurred. The general guide used to determine the charges are depending on nature of service and time spent on the job tasks, generally changes offered by internal members are based on RM20 per hour plus other incidental cost such as traveling cost etc incurred.
Q: Can another member book a chargeable service on a member behalf ?
A: Family members and caregivers can book a chargeable service on another member behalf.
Q: How do member register as a chargeable service offerer ?
A: Member who are capable of offering any chargeable service need to indicate the list of services they are able to provide during membership registration or complete a service update form. Please note that any members who wish to offer chargeable service need to be endorsed by another member of their capability.
Q: How many job task can a member’s service offerer take on in a day ?
A: There is no limit of job task a service offerer can take up per day but the CCL will not encourage you to take up more than 12 hours of job task per day.
Q: How do members get access and participate in activities organized by Integrated Community ?
A: All scheduled members’ activities and events organized by Integrated Community will be published in group WhatsApp chat where each member are invited to join.
Q: What are steps do Integrated Community admin ensure the genuineness of services offerers / providers and genuineness of members seeking services ?
A: To ensure the capability of members who offers services they have to be endorsed by an existing members and for independent service providers they will have to go through strict background checks before they can be accepted as authorized service providers. As for members seeking services their service needs are required to be verified by another existing member.
Q: Is my Integrated Community membership transferable ?
A: No, Integrated Community’s membership is not transferable.
Q: Can Integrated Community’s membership be registered in group and in physical application form ?
A: Yes, membership application form can be submitted in group and in physical form.
Q: Can I contact the CCL if I encounter any emergency ?
A: Yes, you may contact the CCL if you require any help when encountering emergency, CCL will act as the coordinator to provide assistance for any emergency on best effort basis.
Q: Can I book in advance a long term chargeable service schedule ?
A: Yes, you may book an advance monthly, quarterly and half yearly service chargeable service schedule and may also make prepayment to secure the services.
Q: For members and services providers who render chargeable services, when will they receive their service payments and how much admin fee will be retrained ?
A: Members or service providers who render chargeable services will receive their payments within 7 days and 20% of the fee will be retained as admin fee and the balance 80% will be released.
Q: Who are suitable to be Community Connect Leader (CCL) ?
A: If you’re individual who are passionate to make a unique impact and contribution to the community, we would be very glad to have a conversation with you to partner with us as Community Connect Leader (CCL). The role of CCL will be rewarding and fulfilling. We expects the CCL to have the below credentials:
Credentials of a CCL includes a combination of educational background, relevant experience, demonstrated leadership skills, and a strong commitment to serving the community. Experience in community engagement, advocacy, or volunteer work within diverse community settings further strengthens a leader’s credentials. Effective CCL leaders demonstrate empathy, communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to address community needs and drive positive change. Additionally, a track record of successful initiatives or projects that have had a meaningful impact on the community enhances a leader’s credibility and influence within their community will be added an advantage.

A: Corporate organizations collaboration and tie up with Integrated Community has many benefits of leveraging with the community, amongst which are such as Market Access and Expansion, Improved Competitive Position, Enhanced Credibility and Brand Recognition. These benefits highlight the strategic importance of corporate tie-ups in achieving long-term business success and growth.
Q: Who will benefit from Integrated Community ?
A: The whole community will benefit as member of Integrated community. All members will be able to participate in various initiatives and activities that are being organized to improve the quality of life for the community. As for meeting the needs, from seniors who has various needs that are not easily available presently can be found within the community through members who are able to offer such services which is mutually beneficial. It also provides an avenue for individuals and organizations to support a noble cause.
Q: How can corporate organizations contribute to Integrated Community ?
A: Corporate organizations can contribute to Integrated Community in various ways. They can choose to sponsor any events and activities that are inlined to their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or they can also choose to sponsor members who faced financial needs in participating members’ chargeable services.
Q: Will the Integrated Community initiative sustainable ?
A: The objective of Integrated Community initiative aims to bridge the needs gap between the abled and the disabled within the community by pooling the resources, the initiative is not for profit and its operation is based on self funded model unlike charity projects which initiatives depends heavily on donations. Integrated Community is not meant to compete but to complement existing government and non government community initiatives. The initiative will be sustainable as it involves careful planning, execution, and ongoing assessment. We believe the initiative is scaleable to benefit more people in the community with strategic partnerships and sponsorships from individual, organization and the community itself.
